TREBUIE SĂ FII ÎNDRĂZNEȚ!

“Am venit plini de încredere în Dumnezeul nostru” (1 Tesaloniceni 2:2)

Dacă dorești să fii călăuzit de Dumnezeu, trebuie să înveți să fii plin de încredere; nu nepoliticos sau insensibil, ci îndrăzneț, deoarece Dumnezeu te va direcționa uneori să faci lucruri pe care alții nu le înțeleg sau cu care nu sunt de acord. De fiecare dată când depășești limitele a ceea ce ceilalți cred că este acceptabil, riști să fii respins. Nu-i nimic! Nu poți lăsa ca lucrul acesta să te împiedice să faci ceea ce știi că dorește Dumnezeu să faci. Confruntarea criticilor devine puțin mai ușoară când îți aduci aminte că în cele din urmă “fiecare din noi are să dea socoteală despre sine însuși lui Dumnezeu” (Romani 14:12).

Doare să fii criticat. Dar dacă dorești să reușești în viață, trebuie să ai atitudinea pe care a avut-o Pavel. Ben Campbell Johnson parafrazează cuvintele lui Pavel din 1 Corinteni 4:3-4: “Sunt cel mai puțin preocupat de faptul că stabilești ce e bine și ce e rău la mine … Nici tu, nici altcineva nu mă poate reduce la tăcere până nu mă las eu însumi (și nu voi face asta…). Deși nu știu de nici un lucru împotriva mea, ignoranța mea nu înseamnă că sunt corect în aprecierea mea, pentru că evaluarea finală e în mâinile lui Dumnezeu”. Oamenii siguri pot face față faptului de a fi singurii care fac ceva. Ei pot totodată să aibă aceeași alegere deoarece ei știu că am fost chemați să ne iubim unii pe alții și nu să-i analizăm și să-i punem în categorii pe ceilalți! Pentru a evita să îmbătrânești și să te simți de parcă undeva pe drum te-ai rătăcit și nu ai reușit niciodată să ajungi ceea ce te-a chemat Dumnezeu să fii, trebuie să fii îndrăzneț.
